There are many dangers involved with sleep apnea side effects and I am going to discuss them. First over 18 million Americans struggle with some form of sleep apnea. The side effects that come along with it can be very dangerous. Some of these side effects can even be life threatening if they are left untreated. A big factor for many people with sleep apnea is obesity. Over 50% of people who suffer from sleep apnea are obese. It is important to get this sleep disorder treated before the side effects become dangerous.

When the airway is blocked duh to sleep apnea, you stop breathing. When breathing stops regularly you are not getting enough oxygen into your body. When oxygen levels drop many bad side effects come with it. This is just one reason to treat sleep apnea as soon as possible.

Stress is one of the biggest reasons for a lot these sleep apnea side effects. Bad sleep patterns and lack of good sleep causes your body to stress. With stress comes other hormones like Cortisol. Cortisol is a big factor in unexpected weight gain and other negative side effects.

It is important to get diagnosed If you do not know if you have sleep apnea. If you do have sleep apnea it very important to treat it before any of these side effects cause major health issues.

Every sleep apnea treatment out there depends on the person and what they are comfortable with. There are many treatment options and it's important to find one that is comfortable and works. To help avoid sleep apnea side effects it's important to treat it sooner than later.
