By Nancy Gardner

Dr. Samadi is an Iranian who lived in Iran up to the age of fifteen. At that age, following the Iranian Revolution, he together with a younger brother moved out and ended up settling in Belgium. He is of Iranian Jewish ethnicity. The following years of Dr David Samadi were completed in London and Belgium before the two flew to the United States.

David settled in New York and pursued his high school education there. He later went on to earn a degree in biochemistry in Stony Book University. His M. D was earned in 1994 at S. U. N. Y while postgraduate degree was completed at Montefiore medical Center. The doctor had interest in urology and fellowships and training he was later to attend and receive gave specific attention to that area of study.

The initial years of his career were spent at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He held the position of Chief of Robotics and Vice Chair for the Department of Urology during his tenure there. He later moved to Lenox Hill Hospital, moving with all his former team he served with at Presbyterian Hospital. After a while, he became Chief of Robotic Surgery and Chair of Urology at Lenox Hill Hospital. Following his appointment by the school of medicine, he became a professor at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ University.

Samadi has a membership at American Medical Association and American Urological Association. Following his hard work, in the year 2012, he became the highest paid doctor the state of New York, with a salary of US Dollar 7.6 million a year. He has a board certification and specializes in urologic diseases, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and kidney cancer.

David stands out as one of the best in his area of specialization partly because of what he has achieved. He is highly skilled, highly specialized, and highly committed to doing his job in the field of robotic prostate surgery. Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the named health conditions are the commitment of his life and careers. He has successfully carried out over six thousand robotic prostate surgeries.

The doctor also developed an advanced SMART prostate cancer surgery technique. So far, he is the only person who has used SMART. It is clear that the level of experience he is very high because not so many people make such sophisticated discoveries. Robotic prostate surgery is minimally invasive and over 89% of all patients are free of cancer after it is done.

The care patients receive when they are served by Samadi is incomparable. The doctor ensures that patients receive personalized care before they go to surgery and after they come out. He also ensures that he does the surgery himself and always with the same team. This ensures high rates of efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in the results achieved on every operation.

Follow up operations and reviews given by clients indicate that sexual function was regained in 83% of all patients. SMART technology eliminates need for a blood transfusion after operation because there is little blood loss. Media achievement include appearing a TV show and making a radio program.
