However, the main reason is due to the fact that it is a requirement under the law. People often do it so as to meet the legal requirements. In most countries, the requires that people take regular eye tests so as to ascertain their driving capability.

Upon acquiring a driving license, you are required to take several tests on a regular basis. This will prove that you are still in a position to drive safely on the roads without endangering the lives of any other innocent people. Safety on the roads is the number one priority of any government. A hug percentage of the accidents that occur can be reduced if people had proper eyesight.

This means that as we grow older, our visibility continues to become weaker and weaker. In the same way, there are also other parts of the body which go through the same cycle. Their line of work is very sensitive. It can make the difference between life and death. One simple mistake can cause the person on the operating table to result to his death. It is for this reason that they are required to take these tests so as to ascertain their ability to see clearly. Pilots as well are required to take them too. This will prove that they are efficient in the services that they provide.

There is therefore no reason to deny to perform these tests. There is a large variety of reasons in which these tasks are performed. Failure to do so, may result in the revocation of your practice license. This is because it will mean that you are incapable to continue offering the services that you were offering in the first place.

Children are also given such exams. However, they are usually in a mild format since the seeing capabilities of a child are very minimal. This is meant to determine whether the child has been born with full eyesight or not. After this, they will know the next course of action to take.

Children in school are performed for such activities. This will enable the teachers to know whether every student is able to see the front of the class. If this is not the case, then they will be re arranged in random seating positions so as to ensure that everybody can be able to understand what is going on in class.
