The Very Worst Food items Ever!

By Vanessa Summer

There are many foods out there that, even though they taste good, are very very bad for you. Sure we can understand some things-most fast food, for example, while super tasty to eat, cause havoc on your internal system and add way too many calories to your fat stores. But what about the foods that seem like a perfectly acceptable thing to eat? What about the foodstuff you get for your kids? In this article we will look at a few of the very worst things you could ever feed yourself or your family members.

Just about one of the worst type of elements in the world, which is kind of a surprise, is macaroni and cheese. The kind you make at home on your own using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. The Kids' Mac and Cheese food from California Pizza Kitchen, for example is frighteningly unfit. This one food weighs in at more than a thousand calories, in excess of sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and nearly forty grams of saturated fat! No portion of that is really healthful.

How often do you pick up some sort of frozen pot pie from the freezer section of your grocery store? These appear to be quasi-healthy eleventh hour foods but the truth is that they are loaded with unnecessary calories. The pot pies created by Stouffer's, for instance, are packed with almost eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium, more than sixty grams of fat and more than eleven hundred calories. You might end up eating your entire recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You most likely imagine that a vegetarian sandwich has to be among the healthiest things you can order from a fast food place, right? The simple fact is that a result of dressings and also other condiments that get added to them, they are often just as bad as something loaded with meat. The vegetarian sandwich you are eating from Blimpies is full of in excess of thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium, almost sixty grams of fat and almost twelve hundred calories. Why do individuals think that is healthful?

A salad has to be healthy, right? This is typical thought at any rate. If we really want something that is healthy and fast, most of the time we choose a salad to fill us up with food that is healthy for us. You will likely be stunned to learn, then, that there are some salads that are quite unhealthy. The Santa Fe chopped salad from TGI Fridays, for example, weighs in at eighteen hundred calories. This is almost definitely because of the fact that this specific salad is the size of a large dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

The simple fact is that the vast majority of food that we buy on the go or in restaurants is simply not going to be as good for us as the food we make ourselves. Sure preparing food in your own home can be a pain or feel boring, but if you're watching your weight and trying to stay healthy, it is the best thing you can do for yourself!
