It is obese people, however, that is in the greatest danger of developing fallen arches.

Exercises to strengthen the tendons and ligaments in the ankles and feet should be performed from a young age. It is also vital to wear only shoes that provide support and that fit properly. Sportspeople should always wear the shoes designed specifically for the type of sport they play.

Insoles can do much to provide relief from the symptoms of fallen insteps. It is important to buy quality products from reputable dealers. A good insole will fit the form of the foot and will provide support in the area where the instep should be.
