With the rise in many chronic diseases and illnesses, many believe that it has lots to do with pesticides, among its other practices. The point of the matter is that real food has to stay real. Consider butcher shops and grocery stores, with various types of meat already packaged. Now, consider how most of these packages don't contain any bones. It's odd that most are boneless cuts. Very often, the bones end up in processed foods. Either way, it's not natural.

Science doesn't belong in food. People aren't meant just to survive and grow ill over time. Instead, they need important nutrients to thrive and stay healthy. Packaged foods often contain questionable ingredients that cause free radicals, slowly but surely making them sick or over time. Hence, the increase in autoimmune diseases seen today.

Forcing animals to grow or using science in foods isn't natural. On that note, neither is cooking the way it is today. Opening up a package of prepared frozen foods and heating it is not cooking, and it's not healthy. One doesn't have to look that far back to remember how people actually cooked from scratch.

Obesity has been linked to a number of questionable food sources and yes, even cuts of meat coming from industrial agriculture. For one thing, the fat in such animals is extremely unhealthy, as that is where the chemicals fed to the animals will settle. Consider not too long ago, that obesity was a rare sight, but that's no longer true. Many will argue that organic beef is much more expensive and can't afford it, in comparison to that found on grocer's shelves. The solution is to simply go for the good stuff, even if it means reducing the overall consumption of meat. Instead of eating it three or four times a week, cut it down to just once so that it suits the budget.
